This international conference will be dedicated to the Austro-Hungarian military aviation in the eastern front of the Great War and will cover the importance of aviation during World War I and the Battle of Gorlice. It will also be a chance to recall Professor Franciszek Janik from Mszanka near Gorlice – a plane builder, pilot, and winner of numerous hot air balloon competitions.
